As an inspirational executive I have led, coached and mentored teams, team players and business owners. Having gained substantial valued experience with an international financial company and a dynamic progressive FTSE 100 company from startup stage.

My career has spanned four decades having previously trained in accountancy with Thornton Baker.

As a senior coaching practitioner, I have attained my recognised formal coaching qualifications with the Institute of Learning and Management that will also encompass the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and the Association of Business Mentors. I regularly participate in supervised coaching activity. I am an enthusiastic volunteer mentor and coach in  the UK Government’s "Help to Grow" programme for SMEs.

I was born and brought up in a big inner city. During my youth I developed a passion for the countryside and simply vowed that one day I would exchange my view of chimney pots for vistas of trees and fields.

 

As I really did not want to just "work for someone", I began this quest whilst training as an accountant, aiming one day to be my own boss.

I believe, I achieved this aim by building my own successful financial services practice which has now merged into Ventura Wealth Management Ltd. Also, I am now fortunate to live in the countryside alongside a large farm in north Essex with my wife and our ever-expanding extended family.
